Why do they feel thay have to fill some quota that lists potentially dangerous people? Isn't it a good thing that there aren't more dangerous people?

Philadelphia May Ban Boy Scouts From Art Museum

I don't know how the Boy Scouts can challange this. They use taxpayer money. They can't discriminate against gays. Noone is saying that they have to promote it, but they can't ban gays. It's a federal law. They kicked out an 18 year old who came out. The Boy Scouts should have told him that their program is not about dealing with sexuality, wether it be homosexual or heterosexual, and that their program is not the place for anyone to have discussions about sexuality, and if he refused to comply, then maybe then to kick him out...but that policy has to apply to everyone.

It is a shame that the Boy Scouts wont let ALL kids have that opportunity to get what they need to be good adults, and its a shame that the court allows this organization to discriminate. And the art museum made their offer of permanent space for the Boy Scouts like a million years ago. The gave space to the Boys Scouts, not the Straight Scouts. I applaud them for wanting every boy who wants to join this organization, an opportunity to do so. The art museum, city, is not denying anyone a chance to participate...the Boys Scouts are doing that.

US Ships Bombs To Israel

I can see us getting futher and further involved in this conflict. Why can't we just let Israel fight their own battle? I know, Hezbollah is a terrorist organization and we are supposed to be fighting the war on terror, but we can't even contain Al-Qauda, let alone Hezbollah, who supposedly gets 20 million a month from Iran. We haven't really shown much competance in stabilizing the terrorists we already have on our hands. And I'm afraid that Al-Quada will be a cakewalk compared to having to get involved in the Iraq-Hezbollah mess.

More Hypocrasy From The Right

Republicans bashed democrats who used soldiers flag draped coffins in a political ad, then one of them turns around and uses the image of a burning World Trade Center in one of their ads. I would have more respect for them if they stuck to their principals.

Convicted Felon To Be Honored By US Historical Society

Just what gives the government the right to honor this joker, who is currently serving a prison sentence, and using tax dollars to do so? The standards of our government are so low. This is pathetic.

Bush Refuses To Call For Middle East Cease Fire

The ruler of the free world sure isn't behaving very presidentially. He said that Israel has the right to protect themselves. All of this is supposedly as a result of Hezbollah capturing two Israeli soldiers. While Israel needs to do something about that, attacking a city and devastating the people there is not the solution. Israel has been stirring up alot of trouble on their own. Bush ought to be calling for a cease fire, for our own interests in the Middle East.

Woman Loses Consciousness On Disney Ride

Now it's three people who either died or got ill. Maybe they ought to reconsider this ride. And maybe the rides are already thrilling enough, is there really a need for another ride that goes faster or is more intense than what they already have? And why would a parent or a ride operator allow a 4 year old boy on that ride? I know it's the parents' responsibility, but the park ultimately allowed the boy on and now he is dead. Prior to his death another woman died from bleeding of the brain on this ride. Sounds like it head shook so much that it damaged her brain. And then they allow a small child on the ride. Are they clueless?

I thought it was fascinating. Leiberman seems always so depressed though. This is a pretty important Senate fight. Click where is says Windows Media, on the line that says first question to view. Then when it is Lamont's turn to speak, click on Windows Media on the second line, and so forth.

Zarqawi In Exchange For Bin Laden?

Zarqawi's wife claims the US and Al-Quada agreed to let up on Bin Laden in exchange for Zarqawi. I hope that isn't true. I think that most people still want Bin Laden apprehended, even though he is now probably only the figure head for terrorism.

Good Deal?

Castrated Molester Wants Freedom

I think that molestation is similar to rape in that it is more about being in total control of another person than sex. The difference is that a child molester is too much of a wimp to try his nonsense with an adult. I don't believe castration changes that mindset. We should not take chances with these creeps.

Private Conversation Between Condoleeza Rice and Russian Foreign Minister Caught On Tape

Condie is one tough bird. I kind of like her. I guess what they actually said is not so much a big deal as is the fact that the Bush administration does not want dissent or disagreements being made public. Whoops!
