Polanski Wins Libel Suit Against Vanity Fair
This guy is running away from a child sex abuse arrest and has the nerve to sue over this tidbit? He should come back to the States and face the real issue. His refusal to answer those charges, and run away, tells me he is guilty.

See there is something liberals and republicans can agree on. Sexual predators need to be in jail.
I think that there are many things that liberals and conservatives agree on. What we disagree on is how to go about getting there. Liberals agree that now that we are in Iraq, we have to stay until it's done and do it right. We disagree on how to do it.
Liberals agree that abortion should not be taken lightly and most middle of the road liberals do not believe in "abortion on demand", just as most conservatives are not in agreement with overturning Roe vs. Wade. It's too complicated and will cause all kinds of other social problems if we just say, that's it, no more.
Liberals agree that the content in the music and video games is outrageous, but want to balance the need to protect children with the need to allow content that is ok for adults. The answer is not to abolish it all together, but to enforce the sales of such content to minors and for parents to take a more active role in knowing what their kids are doing.
Liberals agree that terrorism must be dealth with in a hard handed, committed, and forceful way...yet we don't want this country to turn into a police state either.
I think that liberals and conservatives have more in common than we want to admit...it's the road that takes us to where we want to go that is divergent. We have to stop battling amongst ourselves. Any extreme position is not good for this country, because the great thing about the USA is that we come from all walks of life, all nations, all races, and vast beliefs. We need to be more respectful of each other, no matter who we are, and find some common ground, or we are in deep trouble.
