It is appalling they have to sue them, why won't the people just give the overpayment back. I would.
I guess that depends on your calculation of what a person is eligible to receive. Just because the government keeps changing the rules for benefits for flood victims, does that mean some are getting overpayment? Or does it mean some are getting underpayment, but now we need to go back and make it even.
No matter how you slice it, nobody's getting rich off this--at least not the victims--just the politically connected companies like KBR and ICF.
