God knows Al Gore is exactly the type of president this country needs, but I don't think he will run and if he did I'm not sure he could win. He's definitely loosened up a bit since the 2000 campaign, but overall he's an intellectual not a charmer and America seems to only vote for people who they find really likable, not for people who are the most qualified and the smartest. It is Americas loss, whether she knows it or not.
