Congress Close To Signing Warrantless Surveillance Into Law

What is with Arlen Spector? Is he schizophrenic? He thumps his chest and makes pretend that he is appalled by the warrentless surveillance, then canoodles with Cheyney to turn this into a law? Allowing a warrantless surveillance program is supposed to uphold our civil liberties, as he put it? He says that laws were broken, so now just say it's legal and the law breakers go free to continue breaking the law? I want to vommit.
