The Media Is Not Doing It's Job

As this article states, the media went hog wild over Bill and Monica, frenzied over Nixon's lies relative to Watergate, and constantly foam at the mouth over inconsequential issues. Why aren't the hard nosed truth seekers out there trying to make Bush accountable? They have their pundits who wrangle back and forth over every sound bite, but where are the investigative reporters in all of this?
