Bush Appoints Bolten During Congressional Recess

What a weenie! Instead of answering the hard questions everyone, including conservatives have about Bolton, he appoints him during recess. This option should be reserved when an emergency appointment is necessary, not to avoid an inquiry into a nominee's fitness to do the job. Bush talks tough, but he sure did weasle out of this one.
